The Apple WWDC 2021 gave 3D scanning some new impulse. Unfortunately, compiling and running the examples requires not only XCODE 13 but also MacOS 12 Monterey. It’s easy to forget how processing intense photogrammetry is.
Calculating this little doll with Metashape as alternative will take hours. Optional look at (for large objects) at the LIDAR scanner on the iPhone / iPad pro and the software 3Dscan or the face scanner (better resolution for small objects)
