After a hearty breakfast and a tour of the garden, the rest of the day was a drive day. Pretty close to sunset, I found a wonderful beach area about 20 minutes north of Newcastle. It had snowed, the streets were partly white. Somewhere in passing I saw a Swiss bull, otherwise there is nobody here. What a quiet night, only the sound of the surf was heard.
